Hey guys,

I'm in a shit situation at the moment where I want to get into PPC advertising seriously but because I don't have a credit card and can't get one at the moment, I can't do much. I have money to use but because most ad networks require cc funding (like facebook for example), it's difficult.

So I'm looking for options. It looks as though prepaid cards are the best option at the moment but if you guys know of anything better then please let me know. Also, I've never used a prepaid card either, so any helpful info or tips you could give me would be really great. Keep in mind this is entirely for PPC advertising, so I'm guessing that certain cards will be more suitable than others what with fees, etc.

So yeah, if anyone has any advise on what prepaid cards are good for this type of billing or if there's a better option available, please let me know, it sucks wanting to advertise but not having a regular credit card.

Cheers :)

I'm using a Master Card Debit card, its like a normal cc but its based around a positive balance instead of credit, maybe you should check with your bank or your bank's competitors to see if they have anythink like that.

If you've got cash on hand but bad credit, you can probably get a secured CC where you put a security deposit down for the limit amount.

Prepaid is OK, but they gouge you pretty good. $ to buy the card and setup the account, $ monthly fee's, $ to load money to it, $ each time you use it... If you went prepaid, I'd suggest doing fewer but larger transactions only, keep those fee's down. Google & friends let you pre-pay, so you might wanna put a few hundred down in a lump sum.

You should consider getting a checking account setup if possible. I use my check card to fund my accounts, I do not own a credit card. Also I believe you can now use Paypal to fund your facebook account.

A couple of the options mentioned by the posters above would probably be cheaper for you, but two (2) of the big prepaid cards are NetSpend and WirePlastic.
I have a NetSpend card that I use from time to time. NetSpend is does not have the monthly fee, if you use it at least once every 90 days. They do charge you $2.99 to load the card and $1 for most transactions.

Hope that helps you consider your options - Good Luck

Paypal has a secure-card plugin that allows you to create a virtual card on the fly. I use it all the time & it comes right out of my PP acct.

BTW, no extra fees with this...

Hmm, don't too much about PPC advertise. Can't help you.

What?! Calling the banhammer please! :ugone2far:

To the OP, a prepaid mastercard is the way to go, regardless of credit history you won't get turned down for this and there are a ton of ways to load it up. Should get you started anyway, keep it simple is my motto.
