PPC Coach - your thoughts?

Hi

I've considered joining that PPC Coach site. Is it any good? Only for beginners? Bit of feedback would be nice, in a thread here or by private message.

it's worth maybe $5 a month.

you'll drown in newbie questions the first month while learning a has-been technique which doesn't provide much gains given the effort required. the second month, activity really drops off and not much to be said about the "techniques" learned.

the keyword tools are okay, but you can do better just creating your keyword lists manually w/ wordtracker, keyword discovery etc.
 
It's not worth it. The tools aren't that great.

He's EXTREMELY slow to respond to technical issues that aren't super simple.

The poll generator isn't that great, his poll software won't run on IIS as he's too fucking concerned with piracy. Just stay away. Not worth it at all.
 
I think it's only good for a certain type of person, a lot of people join and just don't fit in. You need to have knowledge of the internts (PHP, HTML, server stuff, hosting, domains) as a bare minimum before joining.

There's a lot of decent people on there will to help, but sometimes your posts can get "lost" in the noise of all the other newbs which is a little frustrating if you're paying a set fee each month for the priviledge.

Overall I'd say it opens your eyes to PPC, but with enough determination and common sense I reckon it would be possible to succeed without it. I've found it makes things a little easier though.
 
Wow. Thats the first bad thing I have heard about PPC Coach. Still considering joining.
 
I think it's probably worth the cash if you actively participate in the forums. I'm not actively using any of the methods or using the tools right now, but I've picked up a couple tips here and there that have probably made up for the cost of the membership thus far. I'd say it's probably worth at least trying for a month to see if you like it. If the $50 is that big a deal, maybe you shouldn't be focusing on PPC anyway?
 
I'm a member but only logged in once... it seems good just too lazy / no time / school / busy.

i'm on my 9th month. I only started paying attention and doing work after my 8th month. Those who started earlier are already making $xx - $xxx a month.
Some folks were nice enough to give tips and clues after they started making $XXXX a month.

- Videos on how to use the scripts
Generators for Adwords, MSN, YPN PPC
Lots of Videos on how to use the generators

Advice from members
Advice from the Coaches. There are two coaches now.

Prerequisites
It's heaven for ebook haters and PPC noobs, Affiliate noobs, and pro webmasters like me that know how to code, install php scripts but never made $ on PPC.

You won't find it useful if
You know nothing about PHP and HTML
Your lazy
Don't have time to work it.
Don't like testing.


Note:
You won't see much content on Copy writing. But the Coaches will gladly cover that if you ask.

Again... if your no good with PHP and HTML, it's not for you.
