Political clickbait farms

Jordan Liles needs to learn basic marketing: you find what the target audience needs and provide it. Its not big organizations manipulating American voters one way or another, they want it! The masses would rather have stuff dumbed down and spoon fed to them instead of doing what he wants them to do, think. He'll only reach individuals who are already aware of the problems and convert none of the liberal or conservative drones.

The take home point here is that political versions of ViralNova are powerful. What's a more hot button topic than payday loans, term life insurance, and hemorrhoids? Politics! If they like what you say, they'll subscribe, read, interact, and be a loyal follower of your brand.

Main takeaway from Trust Me I'm Lying: A person's more likely to share about an article they've read if it pisses them off.

There's nothing that pisses people off more than politics.

And it's not just clickbait farms that do this. It's all news. Hence why I try to stay away from the news. Watching the news is like walking into a rapist's house for cookies, and expecting anything but mental rape.
