plan to buy gov links

I got an offer:
10 PR4 gov links at $200/month, is it worth?

links are from different sites and all are placed on the index page. Please give your thoughts.
 


I've got 10 PR4 com sites(myspace), if you wanna buy links :)

However I think $200 is just the right price, offcourse on the end all depends from number of sites if your link will be even included site-wide!

I was offered .gov links
most probably they could give me site-wide links
 
For 200 dollars, you could build 28 sites to give you more links. Get a few in digg, reddit, and make people want to link to you and you'll have your own PR4 links to use for free.
 
i say try it for a couple months. There is definantely extra weight on .edus and .govs. But its pretty hard to get .gov links. So even if they discount .edu's because of all of the spam, they might not do the same to .govs.

If its in your budget, do it for 3 months and see if there's a difference.

According to google there is no special value attributed to .gov and .edu links.

Any perceived bonus comes from the sites themselves, not from the TLD.
