PHP Help!!!

I am trying to add the reinvigorate to my opencart eCommerce site. I tried to post it in the generic spot for analytic's script but can't seem to get it to work. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with placing the script in the actual files?

Find footer.tpl -

Open it in a text editor and paste your Reinvigorate code at the very end. Save + Upload.

You should be good to go.
