php error when starting a thread...

i'm getting the following error when trying to start a new thread on the AM sub-forum:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes) in /home/wickedfi/public_html/includes/functions_search.php on line 196

Been like that for 2 days now...
Any idea what's going on?
