Shoe lost the weight from a form of stomach surgery. I will admit to being a shoe fan so I am not trying to attack him however unless you have a mediacal reason for the surgery I think it is a very dangerous way to go to loose weight. He does not talk about trying to loose the weight through diet and exercise. he does not talk about those things now. Around 1% of the population is obese due to health conditions. The rest of us are making bad health choices. If you are heavy there is no golden bullet you do the following, eat clean (that means eat foods that are as close to there origins as possible.) eat more often, it is better for you to eat 4 to 6 times a day between 300 and 500 calories a meal than 1 to 3 meals with 1000 calories each. Food is energy and this will help you to get more work done, if you have a day job and do this internet thing on the side you need all the energy you can get. Each meal should have 3 to 5 oz of protein, about 200 calories from carbs. (carbs are your friend, do not believe these idiots who say that carbs are bad for you. Your body runs on sugar witch is what a carb is at its most basic level. There are bad carbs but then those are foods that violate my first rule of eating clean. Bad carbs are processed foods like bread etc. e.g. White Rice and pastas are not as good as potatos and wild rice.) last thing on diet, do not think that eating healthy and eating to lose weight are the same thing. Avacados are healthy but they are also pure fat so avoid them if you are loosing weight.
this is 80% of a good weight loss and health program. Exercise is the other 20%. Now just because exercise is only 20% does not mean you can avoid it. THere are just as many myths and bad advise in this area as in diet. First, doing cardio to loose weight then strength training is not a good idea. the simplest reason is that muscle burns calories so if you just do cardio sure you will lose weight but the results will not be as good. also do exercises that cause more than 1 joint to move. what I mean is instead of doing a biceps curl do a lat pull down bringing the bar under your chin not behind your head. Also do rows and curl grip pull downs. you will stress more muscle fibers in your biceps because you can only curl say 40 lbs but you can do a pull down with 140 lbs. you have also stressed a larger part of your body meaning you are buring more calories. do these simple things and you will loose weight and gain energy and productivity like you would not believe. do not do not do not get complicated Keep It Simple Stupid!
