PayPal subscription help

Hello everyone,

I have a small issue I'm trying to figure out with PayPal. In a nutshell, I want to allow users to subscribe to my site for a fee, pay via paypal, then they return to my site and are allowed access.

My site (content not unlocked) > User signs up > subscribe w/ a fee via paypal > paypal redirects to my site > content unlocked for download.

I've googled this and can't find a solid solution. I'm looking for a free or very low cost solution...php script perhaps? ipn?

Can anyone help me out on this topic?

I've used IPN on a theme store I used to own, worked well for what I needed it to do. It can handle (with a bit of work on your end) user registration, recurring billing, the redirects after cancelling/payment, support for custom variables, etc. Pretty much everything you need in a simple subscription system. aMember of course is the choice for subscription management, but it is a bit pricy for some people. Just my two cents.

Yeah I don't need a huge thing -- what iPN offers sounds good. I'm going to see if my coder is able to work with it..any free scripts -- post em
