paypal & no land line

PayPal thought my account was being hijacked the other day (it wasnt) and they disabled it temporarily. Now I re-enabled it and they want to verify its me by calling my landline. Well, originally I lived with my mom when I set it up but now I live 550miles away with no landline. Anyone have a solution?

use skype and get a phone number with them.

I had the exact same thing happen to me...

When you hit the "Verify Now" button, it calls the phone, and displays a number on the computer that you need to enter in the phone.

So, if your mom has a cell phone... Talk to her on it, and then when her phone rings, she can answer it, and input the number that you tell her once you see it.

About the only way to do it.

Same thing happened to me. I just called in and explained the situation, and had my account back up and running within 5 minutes.

I had similar problem with PayPal (some verification shit), All I did was called them on Skype and it was done in 10 mins.
