Password protected sections

Maybe its because of my super low post count, I see many sections that require a password. Is there anything else I can do to get into those sections that sound really interesting apart from increasing my post count?

You need to post a photo of you holding a spoon with your nose, shirtless with "WF Rules" written on your chest. Then, and only then do you get access.

Well tbh I don't know if I'm classified as a lurker or not but I've got no idea why those forums are password protected or how to get in.
All I remember is that Jon made a post not long ago about changing the forum and making parts pay only or something along those lines.
