I saw this program on Digg and though I'd post it here if it hasn't already been posted. I use Photoshop and downloaded this program as an alternative to MSPaint for quick fixes like image resizing and coloring. It takes less than 2 seconds to load up and I love that.

It has a lot of the basic and more advanced features that Photoshop has (but it doesn't have everything obviously).

Here's the link: www.getpaint.net

Thoughts?

I downloaded it. It is really a nice little program, hard to complain about it because it is free :)

I would say a large majority of those who have photoshop installed only need this program.

I would say a large majority of those who have photoshop installed didn't pay jack shit for it.

self included.

haha i don't think I ever paid for any software. but if there was one that i really want to pay for, that would be CorelDRAW graphic suite. it's just everything a professional designer needs period. for under $400. great price for a complete package.

Yeah, photoshop cost me free.fifty as well. But I don't even know a quarter of what it can do. Good find.
