Outsourcing predictions?

I haven't much research on the subject, but I assumed since many WF members rely on outsourcing that it might be a relevant topic.

My question is this: What do you guys think the future of outsourcing will be? Do you believe that the politicians will put an end to using cheaper virtual labor? What does the past tell us about this?

How would politicians put a stop to it when 99% of US corporations do it on a gigantic scale?

Somehow I don't think that paying 5 bucks to some Philippino for 20 social bookmark backlinks is going to show up on their radar anytime soon.
