Optimizing Your Site For a Specific Merchant

Have you ever tried choosing a good merchant and organizing your site around their products ?! I've never tried it, but the idea looks interesting.

It's a bit riskier because you're tied with the merchant more closely and you depend more on their ability to sell, your site can go down with them etc. but could also bring better conversions as you're more focused.

Any thoughts ?!

I'm currently doing this for a particular merchant. I just put the site up about a month ago so only a small bit of ppc traffic, but I think it may be a promising venture once I bring in some natural SE traffic for some targetted keywords.
