Hi Guys
Whats the general thought about these?
I believe they don't mean alot in general seo terms but that its the future sale value if you get a decent .co domain.
Or do you think they're just being hyped-up to inflate their real value?

In terms of seo, there is absolutely bi difference. The main point of consideration is that people have a bit of difficulty in remembering .co domains.

I would never develop on a .co

Only squatters buy .co (which is fair enough - traffic is king)

It's a case of 'wait and see'. Google have said they will recognise .co as a TLD so they'll probably have more value in future.

In *theory* the only additional SEO value .com or .org would get, is domain age and more specifically age of links to the domain. .Cos like all other new ccs and tlds are starting from 0. Doesn't mean you can't build up a great domain with a little work and patience though. In fact, if you spent 5 yrs slowly culiminating a kickass .co to the point it has just as much value as the equiv .com for SEO purposes - I wonder if people might be willing to pay quite a little nugget for it. .co is potentially quite brandable, IMO.

I just got a .co for a new niche. So I will update this once I start doing Sri work to it.
