OnlyWire looks great and I'm involved with a personal version, but I really want to pick your brains about when you use the various social bookmarking API's on such a grand scale as this.

I mean, would they Ban your IP if you kept submitting sites on a grand scale with a single IP?

How could you by-pass this?

You could setup your own proxy server, on your web hosting service for example. Or search for "anonymous proxy list" in google or something.

You could probably get away with using 2 (maybe 3) accounts without a proxy. Just take it slow and easy.

anyways don't use a single ip

you will need to do what I did which is make your script allow for 100 ip's for it to shuffle during the postings, I also had it put a 30second pause between postings

you will also need to update your proxy lists daily or a few times a day, we also have a proxy scraper built in so we just let it run, then imput the list into the posting script.

i sure hope you did not go and buy a readymade script because most of the time they are junk.

I'm getting my script coded for me :-D

I'm kinda lost with this proxy stuff. I get that the API's hate you posting continuously to the services; but how do you make 100 proxies??

Do you have to put them on your own server or just use someone else's??

I'm also wondering what a proxy scraper is DOH!

I have a wp plugin from autosocialposter.com

But can't say it really helped me a lot.
