Offshore hosting experiences

Does any one have any experience with offshore hosts?

I have a forum that is taking off, but it dabbles in some of the black arts that US hosts do not like. I was looking at Zentek International as a possibility.

I think that Melonez still provides Offshore hosting, But never tried that ..

How about securehost.com. They have locations in Bahamas and Jamaica.
