Offshore banking

Anyone have experience with opening an offshore bank account or incorporating offshore?

THIS IS NOT FOR TAX EVASION

I am a non-resident of my country, so i pay no tax on anything. I would just like to keep money out of my home country. And having an account with multiple currencies would be useful.

So im interested in:

- Recommended banks
- Recommended offshore jurisdictions
- Recommended companies that set up offshore companies/accounts

I'm using Internaxx (Internaxx: online offshore banking and broker in Luxembourg). They give you an account with sub-accounts in several major currencies (US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Swiss Franc, some others) so if you want to exchange money, just move it from one sub-account to the other. And it's in Luxembourg, so they take confidentiality seriously. Only thing that might be a drawback for some on this forum: They are not able to US residents or US citizens as customers.

Look into luxemberg, old banks which only take deposits, they do not lend out money... So you're not giving them your money, getting some crap interest rate yet they are gambling with your cash.

You'll need a company to own the money, use a BVI.
