If you still believe in some sort of political action in the US, then I advise you watch this video and become familiar with the concept of nullification.

At it's philosophical root, nullification is based upon the idea that each man is free and sovereign. In other words, if you believe that each man is an individual political unit, then nullification should be logically consistent with that opinion.

Just out of curiosity why are you so interested in US politics?

In case you forgot we have a total shitshow of a provincial election coming up that you will have no shortage of fodder to rage/comment/laugh/cry over.

I'm not interested in politics at all. Other people are and I am interested in other people.

I pay almost zero attention to local news or events. It's largely irrelevant to me. A change in Google's TOS matters a lot more to me than something that is decided or implemented in Victoria.

Good vid, love Tom Woods. I'm familliar with the concept but haven't seen the whole thing yet. (perhaps I can finish it tonight) So far they seem to be talking about concepts and not about action... I would imagine that if the Free State Project took off for instance and started getting aggressive with nullification of federal laws, Comrade Obomba would send the tanks in, as if the state were trying to seceed, and try to live up to his favorite president's example. The fact that you pay more attention to my posts than I do to yours, says everything about the hierarchy of our relationship. :)

Sam Snead was once asked who was the better Golfer, Jack Nicklaus or Ben Hogan?

Sam replied, "I use to see Jack spend hours watching Ben practice. I never ONCE saw Ben watch Jack do anything."
