I have read alot over the last week or so that I have been a member of this forum and even with constant links to dick rolls and posts from 1 time posters that think we are all nubs and will buy into their latest and greatest scheme, I have actualy learnt alot here and am starting to put it into practice.

I have created a new website in the last week, installed wordpress and installed the Revolution Streamline theme and have my hosting on an Australian host being that my site is a .com.au and based at the Australian market.

I have also filled the site with unique content and with my desired keywords, made use of titles, meta tags, alt attributes etc etc. I have also started 3 way link exchanges with sites that are relevant to my own.

I now come to the article side of things and whilst I know that my articles should be keyword rich, unique and I should upload them at a frequency of about 1 a day, I now find myself with a question that I am not really sure of the answer to and hopefully someone can help me out.

I came across an article site and am wondering if these types of sites are worthwhile submitting an article to and then having a link to my site in the author section.

Also if it is worthwhile are there any similar sites that I should submit articles to and am I better off doing this myself or paying someone for an article submission service?

Hmm guess that is 3 questions and I should rename this post "Noob question #3, #4 and #5" anyways thanks for the help.

Yes, sign up to Ezine Articles and post some interesting worth while articles. Make sure you don't sell whatever your advertising on your site in the actual article body. Leave that to the bio box.

And yes do it yourself. It's good practice and you don't want to be wasting money as a noob on outsourcing article writing.

You can also submit sites to goarticles.com - there's others out there. Do a google search =)

Thanks for the reply, this leads me to another question, should the articles I use at the various all be unique or is it alright to use the article on several sites?

I am guessing for SEO purposes make each article unique but if someone can steer me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

adam7one, what you've stumbled upon here is article marketing. Do a bit of research on google for that phrase and get some info, but the basics are to submit articles to these article directories (not just ezinearticles, but lots of other high PR ones) and gain some nice backlinks, as well a bit of clickthrough traffic.
