Ok so for my 2nd noob question whilst being a member of this forum.

What the hell is a digg? I have been reading about people selling diggs and helping with SERP but what is it and what is the benefit of it?

It is a site where people willpost various links and people "Digg" it based on if they like it. Great for spreading traffic.

As for the benefit of it, if you get to the front page then you'll get a massive surge of traffic. Also, the digg submissions tend to get ranked in the SERPs as well, meaning more traffic to your site.

That's it in a nutshell, it depends on the person using it as to what results you get.

Hes from australia, its probably not that big over there. In other news, adam one dont waste your time trying to figure out digg as a newbie. Just concentrate on other social bookmarking as a way to develop links.

Hire some cheap labor to register accounts from different IP addresses and digg your postings.

Maybe there is an automated tool for this, I don't know about that.
