Hi,
I guess you could say I'm relatively new to the whole IM/affiliate marketing thing. I've searched and read forums from the wickedfire, warrior, etc and am still having trouble figuring out where would be the best place to start. My main question is which affiliate programs do you guys use and could you give a description of the type of products/program it is. I'm basically looking for something similiar to clickbank in a sense without the bullshit ebooks that claim to be all inclusive guides that are really just basic rundowns of the game that you could find for free on the internet with a thing called google. but enough with the CB flaming. My other question is what is cpa. I understand it to be cost per action/acquisition but is it basically getting people to sign up for offers or is it more in depth than that. Also if I do want to use cpa with a site should it be a site that is already up and running or can create sites with the goal to make money with cpa.
 


cpa can be getting people to sign up for a variety of different actions. it could be they actually try a trial of something like blockbuster and have to give their name, address, credit card info. or even just a zipcode or email submit. obviously the latter pays less and there's lots if between. signup without the sites first altho you may need one site that exists even tho you won't run ads on it. below's my copeac referrel signup if u feel generous. in how did u hear about us, make sure you put down WickedFire. they'll give you some extras like higher payouts and other special treatments when you ask them :)

Thanks for your reply jened. I've heard of azoogle ads but never copeac until now. How would I go about promoting azoogle or copeac or does it just depend on the offer. If anyone can give me a basic run down of how to get started using cpa that would be much apreciated
 
check out some posts here. for example - create a webpage or blog entry even on a free site like wrightsmovies.wordpress.com on various movies. post some reviews - some people here just say copy and paste content from other sites - but i'd take a little extra time and make it original. then for example, you would put banners on your site promoting netflix or blockbuster. someone signs up for blockbuster thru your copeac link for example, and that's $40 for you. you need to drive traffic to your site using ppc like adwords or microsoft adcenter. i'd try the latter first as they have coupons for like $100 free advertising with only $5 signup fee. check out http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/9958-march-2007-affiliate-stats.html for some good converting offers and browse copeac and azoogleads for offer ideas. good luck. but definately spend some time reading the different posts here before asking too many questions or you may get flamed. feel free to pm me too with any questions.
