I've finally decided to try out affiliate marketing, but I'm kind of curious to the situation.

When I first heard of affiliate marketing, Acai was making money on facebook and Google/Yahoo allowed it's promotion, but now everything seems to have gotten jacked up.

But from what I read, facebook seems to be the easiest route to take. (Probably wrong)

So here's my take on it for now and if theres anything incorrect please rip it appart.

So from my general take from facebook, I first would need to test by getting like 300 clicks~

After getting 300 clicks, I should see the facebook report and look at who's clicking my ads.

Then try to optimize my ctr any way I can via changing up the ad, changing the demographics, or +/- landing pages.

After that, see how the cpc and epc compare and the finally spend alot of money on it if it turns out to be profitable.

This is what the general gist of Facebook I was able to get.

Any problems?

Depends on the offer but you probably don't need 300 clicks. You also neeeeeed to target different demographics. Don't just throw a totally untargeted ad out and try to optimize afterwards.
