How do I register Australian or Canadian domains?

I mean, suppose I discover a terrific need for "Apex Widgets" and everyone in Canada is crazy for them. How do I register "apexwidgets.ca" without going through all the hoops that CIRA wants me to?

Oh, and yeah, I'm in the US.

Find a registrar that allows you to register them. I think iDotz has a good selection of .TLDs to register. Be sure to read the rules of registration for the .TLD because some require you to be a citizen of that country to register it.
