I'm just starting out. Trying to make my first move in IM. Ive been reading a bunch about peoples success and failures in the industry, and i feel im ready to start making some moves, wether good or bad.

So for my first stop I will purchase a domain and web host.
And i am also currently signed up with my personal friends Affiliate Marketing Network.

I will keep a journal of my trial and error so i can seek advice on what i did wrong and what i did right.
 


First thing i was wondering, and im going to state the fact that like alot of other people out there im pretty broke. Is it possible to just make a site through wordpress for now?
 
Yes!

Purchase a domain and some hosting ASAP.

The most important thing is getting it up and online for the SEs to realize "hey, he exists!"

There is generally a slow uptake to reaching high in the SERPs. So the sooner you start, the better.

Thank you guys, Ive been just practicing writing all week. And im looking forward to making mistakes all apart of the learning curve. Ill update my progress in a few hours.
 
But don´t take the entire "learn from your mistakes" stuff on the easy shoulder... you have absolutely no idea how depressing it can be if the first 5 sites you build dont rank for the keyword you are targeting... SEO is not easy but keep learning... I never liked people saying that you need to take "action" as soon as possible because you will probably make mistakes you could have easily avoided if you had the knowledge!
