new php blogging script in the works, what features are most important to you?

IMO WordPress has about everything that is important to me, I guess if youd want to make a blogging script you could try to follow suit with WP and try to improve on different elements, but there going to be a tuff one to beat!
wordpress, but the ability to more easily create a template in xhtml and css, and integrate it into the script. Sometimes wordpress is hard to get into certain layouts. simple coding = better blogging platform.
Ive had very few problems skinning WP, in fact I think WP is one of the easiest to skin. Try skining a Joomla site, lol! Thats a bitch!
I dont think that will ever happen. If you have the skills to develop a blogging script why not try to hit an easier market? WP has such a following that it wouldnt matter what level your skills are, you would most likely never touch the market.
But hey, you never know, you may a year down the road come to me and say hey Jerxs you dumb narrow minded fuck look at me!
Make a blog for worseless idiots and the extreme newbees!
Set it up so when someone looks at the code it says "put ___ x ___ adsense ad code here", "put stat counter here", put in the Google "google start here" instructions, etc. Have each section have a folder (sidebar, page, post, etc).
One like this may be out there already, but I may have missed it!
