Hello everyone

I have tried affiliate marketing for some time now and never seemed to get any real results. Right now I own a beautiful site and think there is a lot of potential for it. Unfortunately, I lost my job today and now I dont know what I am going to do. I barley was able to keep any savings and bills are coming in more quickly than earning.

I could really use a "Clickbank Miracle" if you will, since you always see success stories.

If anyone can give me some suggestions, or if someone would be willing to take me under there wing, and show me the successful way of affiliate marketing I would greatly appreciate.

I look forward to talking to everyone.

Your going to need to find a job to support yourself until you can make a steady income online.

Or if you have any skills you could join odesk or freelancing websites and bid on projects and get paid to work for someone else.

As above, get another job asap.

There's no quick fix in IM. Everything takes time to build up, that which doesn't take time requires experience and knowledge themselves take time.

on another note: If your really serious and want to risk it, you could work insane hour days 12+ and make something work and make yourself enough money to support yourself. Its possible and is going to take some ingenuity and a lot of hardwork...not easy

What kind of site do you currently own? You've got three options here.

1) Buy Traffic ..Use a credit card to buy traffic and cross your fingers for a nice return. - Listen, if you don't know anything about affiliate marketing or marketing in general you'll probably fail hard out of the gate. There are some people who get lucky though and hit it big when they're faced with those types of situations. Those people are rare so your best bet is to either get in the service section and start writing or go deliver some pizzas or something.

2) Organic Traffic - If you don't know anything about SEO you're fucked. You'll probably spend most of your days researching and reading before taking action. And when you do start to take action you're going to be playing a waiting game. I guess in the mean time you could hit niche forums, set google alerts for your keywords, get active on Facebook, and get a Twitter account.

3) Start doing offline marketing. Go door to door or leave flyers on door handles and car windshields. You can be pretty innovative about it. Put a special offer on the flyer and capture their info from a lander you send them to. Set an offer on an auto responder from aweber or whatever. You should be able to get a free trial. You'd have to put some work in but could probably get something rolling and profitable in little time.
