Great so more domain newbs will buy a bunch of crap domains in expensive TLDs that people wouldn't buy for the 9.99 let alone the probable 25-99 reg fees some of the more expensive ccTLD have.
So they will whine over at namepros and dnforum about how they have these great domains they just bought and would like an appraisal, only to bitch and whine when people tell them they just lost $200 they spent registering a bunch of domains on a crappy TLD that aren't even worth reg-fee undeveloped.

How soon do you think there will be some ebook on investing in the "land rush" and becoming rich over-night with domain names in these upcoming TLDs and ccTLDs?

Well they didn't go for .xxx but maybe they'd prefer .fuck?

Or how about: .wank, .toss, .cum or the obvious .sex...

Or, seeing as the US Government pretty much runs ICANN and he'll be leaving soon, how about a fitting tribute...

.bush !!

Think of the possibilities....!

I thought a dot .xxx domain extension would have been approved. That way it would be easier for parental control software to block obvious porn sites. But, as usual, the powers that be never think THAT far ahead.

That would actually be a good idea, and I think it will work out to its benefit also.
