I have a new affiliate program on Shareasale. I haven't been actively promoting but managed to get a few sales in. Right now, I'm offering affiliates 15% on sales plus a 90 day tracking cookie.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on what you thought about that.. and do you like %ages better or flat fee.

Also, what types of promo materials are working for you these days?

Why is the commission so low? What is the niche? Do you have any plan to actively grow your program, or are you just hoping that by being in SAS you'll miraculously make sales and get kick ass affiliates?

My website is miamor.com. The main product is a lingerie bag and the second is a line of wrist wallets. I have a few other ideas down the pike. I would like to actively grow the program but this is completely new to me so I'm open to feedback or suggestions on how to do that. I know I will not just get affiliates just by signing up for SAS.

I have friends that have been in the web business on the adult side so I'm aware that managing affiliates takes a lot of work. They just haven't been able to give me any information on how that would translate with a mainstream product like mine.

15% is too low? I have some wiggleroom. What would you be looking for?
