Network Salary Question

What is the going rate for a decent account manager or affiliate manager?

I am assuming base pay plus commish but wanted to see if anyone had a better idea what the actual numbers are.

so lets say someone with 2-3 years experience and actually have an idea what they are doing? I have heard 40K plus some commission here in NYC for some larger networks.

I am not looking for a copy of anyones tax returns, just some ball park figures.

yes, $40K base plus commission and they sell it as a $85K package if they hit their performance goals.

I worked at Yahoo years ago and they were hiring what were considered sales guys at $32K plus commission. A lot of people just wanted to get into the industry and you usually got people right out of college.

In 2011 I was speaking with a contact there that claimed base was 55k. Either way, these are pretty low salaries.

Brandon hit the nail on the head. The salary is basically to get you in your seat everyday then you man up and hit the commission.
