Need UK hosting Advice from Veterans

Hello, I'm looking for hosting in the UK and need some help.

I have around 8 UK domains that I would like to host in the UK, and I'm having a difficult time on what to decide on.

I'm thinking of going with reseller hosting in the UK for two purposes:


  • Seo - Since the website is targeted to the UK market, I thought by having the website hosted in UK, the servers will load the website quickly. Plus all of my competitors host there websites on UK servers


  • Protection - In case one of the websites get hacked, the others will not get affected since it is a reseller package. If i just had normal hosting with 8 websites on that account, if one gets hacked, all get hacked. and it might be terribly hard to manage.

Thats my reasoning, and I could be wrong or too paranoid:eek:. thanks
 


I'm with heartinternet, they have an excellent reseller package and unlimited everything. There domians names are a bit more pricy that 123reg but I just buy from 123reg and transfer over.

PM me and we can go 50/50 on an affiliate signup.

edit: as for security they have an new feature called ftp locked where you can only hae the ftp open for a set amount of time and then it closes. Not treid this yet but looks like a good feature as they say that viruses are stealling ftp details from workstations and using them to plant code.
