About spiders:

I know they are determined from the IP origination. So if they come from a known spider IP they will only see the cloaked pages, never my .htaccess or php redirects right??

Also, Shit? What if SE's are smart and just start using private proxies with multi ip's that shuffle every 6 min to hide their IP's. Like I do.

Cloaking wouldn't work then would it, how they hell else can the program know if it is a spider or person????????????

Does any SE do this? Why wouldn't they?? Fuck!

One other thing?

This is the only other thing I need to know.

If I have a page cloaked, and have an instant redirect, if it is a spider incoming, will it see the cloaded page or do I have to have enough time for the cgi-bin executables to execute and all the .htaccess shit happen?

or is it just plain and simple. I go there I'm redirected to the gambling site, and if a spider goes there it sees the pretty SEO page??

In test mode I do see the cloaked pages, so I think I'm good.

Just need to make sure my redirect doesn't defeat the cloaking by redirecting too fast.

I appreciate the help.

You can use a javascript redirect and encrypt it. It's simple but it still works. If it's a site that you are going to put a lot of work into, and don't want to risk getting banned you might want to invest in a cloaking script/service.

Got it, but still Have a Q

Ok, so I figured out what was going on and am using .htaccess redirect cloaking and blocking the proper links now. Also I figured out how to make my cloak word html and also cloak my index.html since that was the issue.

Now it is cloaking and redirecting to my other sites based on referer, so that way my real shit will never get F'd by anyone only my cloaked throw aways.

As for encrypting java script, how should I do that, and do you think all the freaking add ons for cloaker like SEC (Searh Engine Cloaker) are worth it.

Cheers,

Jason

If it's something you don't want to risk getting delisted, then yes...a cloaking script with a subscription to spider IP's etc. is worth it. If its a throw away domain, you can use and alternative like javascript, etc.
