There are no tricks, tips, or techniques at the highest level. Just real, unvarnished hard work and raw talent. You can't fake that. I've won various awards from well-known worldwide design organizations:

I see a lot of threads on WF for "cheap" designs. People are fighting for the lowest possible price, aka: the very bottom of the shit design pile.

I've been in this game a long time. A simple landing page for "free grant money" may not need the rockstar treatment. I've seen hundreds of pages convert that looked like absolute digital puke. It blows my mind to think of how many people are clicking and filling out forms on pages with spelling errors and made-up testimonials. LOL! The general public is clueless, and that fact is making easy millionaires.

But you guys are like me. You're smart. You're the ones running the show. You don't click on banner ads, you don't believe anything you see unless it's backed up by solid research & authentic reviews, and you can smell a shallow sales pitch coming from miles away.

Get in touch, and let's work on your next project together. Because some audiences don't fall for the cheap gimmicks.

looks like i may have already found a great designer off here, but always like options. what are yours rates?

thanks.

Can I haz design $10?

But seriously though, I have a client who needs a single landing page (single video, a little text, paypal button, and a logo) and I just can't figure out how to make it and make it look good.

Hit me up with a price (just the Fireworks/PS/Illustrator mockup, no coding) if you're interested. Already got the logo done and can forward you the other stuff. I'm just having a brain fart on this.

In response to your question — That Blue Jeep lander would run a couple hundo, depending on your needs. If we don't get nasty with the revisions, I can usually throw in a little email and maybe a thankyou page.

The BlueJeep lander is pretty small. A standard lander (2-3 screens tall) might take a bit more time. Once again, this all depends on how the work relationship goes. If communication is going well and I can get what you want in the first couple tries, my rates are great for the quality.

I don't take any deposit on the first job, as I prefer to wait and see how we like working together. I do the work for free with the agreement that if it's not working out as planned, we part ways in peace with our WickedFire reputations in tact. I dunno - sometimes it's just not the best fit. If the client loves the work I'm doing, then I ask for payment, and from then out we arrange whatever schedule works best (by project, or weekly, or whatevs).

did you not see my question about rates? i'd like to know your rates please, do you have any sort of guide?

A commenter on this thread asked me a similar rates question here, which I answered.

PM me with your specific questions and I'll get you taken care of. Rates vary depending on the project, so if you have some examples in mind, I can quote you on what I think it might take to execute.

I am looking for a designer for a small manufacturer to create logo, website, business cards and printer brochure of products (around 10 items).

How much would it cost? I need to find out rough estimate of your service as I have to work with the budget.

Please PM me details.

Thanks.

Samples look really good. If you're only charging a couple hundred, that's significantly less than other high-end designers.
