Need to ad a wp header from a .psd or photoshop banner is it possible

I got a banner done for me with animation using photoshop .psd extension but do not know how to use it for a WP blog header is it possible? Can anyone help me and give details on how to do so if possible?

Is it possible? Yes. How do you do it? Depends on a ton of factors. It might be as simple as saving it as an animated gif and replacing the current logo.

I tried right click and open with paint to save as .gif but did not open.

You'll need something capable of editing PSDs (Most commonly, Photoshop, lol). Paint cannot do so, unfortunately.
