Need help getting decent print output on a dot matrix printer (OKIDATA 320)

Good Day Y'all,

I'm having a lot of trouble getting some text to render nicely on a dot matrix printer. It's a lot harder than it seems.

Basically I have these long forms ( with the multiple sheets ) that I'm trying to fill out.

Anyone experience with this kind of stuff from the good 'ol days?

If you have these options:

Reduce contrast
Increase resolution/DPI (or whatever is the equivalent)
