Need Culturally Neutral IQ Tests Quickly

That's my main criteria in hiring employee and programmers.

I don't mind paying.

As long as the test is legit and culturally neutral, such as raven matrix.

The person is right here. I got to compare quickly.

It's a matter of life and death. Hire the wrong guy I am death. Hire the right guy and I'll do better in life latter.
 


IQ test: why not just give a problem to solve with psuedo code: i.e. write the code spell out an amount in english. input 1,356,297 output "1 million, three hundred fifty-six thousand, ...." etc. Give them 30 min.

That said, IQ is not what always separate good programmers from bad. Often there is a temperment issue, or work ethic, or willingness to question assumptions, or ability to identify unspoken or unexamined assumptions.

The IQ test hasn't changed in 100 years, its outdated compared with our current knowledge and understanding of intelligence.

If its as serious a decision as you make it out to be I suggest you use another method. I also +1 pseudo code method and correct interview.

My current employee got 133. The guy that applied got 131. When I saw my wife got 143 I knew something is not right about the test.

The problem is not just the intelligence.

I am tired with normal IQ people calling me stupid all the time. The high IQ is at least understandable to me. When we disagree they can explain to me in ways that make sense.

Normal IQ people are so fine tuned at pursuance of power it's hard to work with.

High IQ = Good Attitude

Yes because Geniuses are so damn easy to live with. I'm sure Einsteins wife loved waiting for him to work on a theory for days.

I think maybe you are looking at things wrong here. You are looking for a dumb person who acts smart so you get along better.

The tests are worthless. Too easy. It's a fake IQ test that gives you artificial score.

I need something real.

As for that effect. How would you explain faith?

The more people knows nothing the more they are sure of their opinion.

The same applies to me. I used to be a very faithful Christian.

Anyway, IQ tests will replace degree, just like porn will replace coyness and jewelry and DNA paternity tests will replace marriage.

Move forward along with technology. The reason why those 3 are politically incorrect are not because they don't work. It's because they work too well in showing accurately the truth.
