Namecheap Black Friday Specials Starting Early?

This is YMMV but looking for 2 new domains today and at first saw a $10.88 price per dot com.

10 minutes later I got a $5.88 price and was able to complete 2 purchases of .com for that price.

These were new domains

Not sure about renewals or .orgs or .nets.
