Hi all, a brief introduction of myself; I am 23 years old living in sunny Singapore and would like to have a flexible working hour and the freedom to work from home which eventually led me to Internet Marketing.

p.s: I got no prior knowledge regarding Internet Marketing which led to the creation of this thread.

Few days back, I stumbled upon Felixgoh's (who happens to live in the same country as me) case study on ranking with EMD in 60 days or less.

He deeply inspired me and I see the case study as a perfect opportunity for me to get my feet wet in the IM world.

However there are still a lot of things that I need to learn/don't understand in the case study and hope you people out there can help me (and other n00b in the forum) out. To make sure that I don't ask "stupid question", I will google them before asking in the forum.

So here it goes;

Main Keyword #1 - This is also the EMD.
- 880 Exact Searches
- SERPIQ Score - 33
- CPC ~ $2

Related Keywords

I never like to rank a site just for a single keyword so I have other related keywords to work as well.

#2 27100 Exact Searches $2.73 CPC SERPIQ 47 - Root Keyword
#3 720 Exact Searches $3.24 CPC SERPIQ 40
#4 880 Exact Searches $2.60 CPC SERPIQ 42
#5 1300 Exact Searches $1.31 CPC SERPIQ 41

Most of the keywords do not have huge search volume but is a buying keyword. As long as I can make bank, who cares if it is a low volume keyword anyway .

Week #1

Ordered 10 x 500 words content to be dripped over 2 months. All my articles come from thecontentauthority.com. Out of the 10 articles, 5 are purely support based content for the purpose of internal links and the other 5 is keyword focused content created specially to rank and make money.

Completed 100 social bookmarks to the homepage and that is all for this week. Nothing heavy because this is a brand new site that is registered on 25th October.

I used 10 different anchor text for the bookmarks. The purpose is to get a huge anchor text diversification initially because later on, I will be using my main keyword 80% of the time.

Questions:

1) What is SERPIQ Score and how did he obtain them? Tried searching on google and all I got was some kind of ultimate SEO research tool.

2) I understand that Felixgoh got his EMD from secretagentdad so in your opinion which is better for a beginner to start with? Google Keyword Tool (Free), Secretagentdad (Paid App), or Clyde's Ultimate Niche Finder Tool (Paid App)?
 


SerpIQ is software offered here by DChuck..Pretty sure he still offers a free trial of the software to analyze a handful of KW's before you buy..

#2 is a good question. If it was me I and I was starting I would probably pay SecretAgentDad and get one that you know is going to be a winner he won't steer you wrong then after you get your feet wet buy Clydes software if you think this is what you want to keep doing..

Week #2

Added an article on keyword #3. I decided to skip Press Release submission for now and go straight for article submissions. I am dripping in 50 articles a day linking to the homepage and the 2nd link rotating between the subpages for keyword #2 and keyword #3. Again, I am using 4-5 anchor text variations for these article links. I would say that i am only using the main anchor text for each money page 25% of the time now.

Currently ranking at #37 for main keyword after 100 social bookmark. Nothing impressive so far because its what I expected. I am expecting to hit the top of 2nd page at the end of this week. Will update on this again.

Someone questioned Felixgoh if he really drip 50 articles a day and Felixgoh confirmed that he did.

So my questions now is..

1) If he drip 50 articles a day, does it mean he drips 350 articles for the whole week???

2) Once again I assume he uses some kind of tool for article submission, what tool will you guys recommend and is there any free alternative out there?

3) He mentioned the cost for week #2 is $10 for creating spin articles for article submission so does it mean 350 articles = $10?

Please correct me if I got anything wrong above. n00b learning in progress..:drinkup:

Look up article submission software, you'll find a few options out there.

For #2, look up article spinning.
 
Sorry, actually someone asked the same question (Question 2) in Felixgoh case study.

He uses TBS for spinning and AMR for article submission. My bad..

(I dont know of any free versions)

Sick submitter for bookmarking (trial versions available)

Thebestspinner - for Spinning (this is paid) if you want a free version you should try "freearticlespinner"
