Well I have been lurking here long enough that I finally ate the website bug. Alright, here's the plan. I am creating a website based on resume design. Why? Well, I actually am working on my own (as an intern, I don't have much job security) and I wanted to see some items on some of these sites that aren't there. Basically, this will be a static content site. Development of the site has JUST begun. I will NOT be updating it every single day, as I have a job, but as I do update the site, I'll be uploading new iterations of the following document:
http://www.resumebeginner.com/documentation/ResumeDocumentation.doc
It will always be the same link - I don't intend on updating this thread with each update, as that would really double my work... unless I post "updated" in this thread - but I expect to update the site once every 3-4 days, which may make the existence of this thread bothersome.
Objectives:
Making a website
Monetizing it after content implementation
Practicing efficient web building techniques
Clear documentation
The website is ResumeBeginner - Build a Resume, Resume Tips and Tricks, What Recruiters Want to See!
If you see a major change, I will probably have documented it and uploaded the .doc with the change.
Edit: On the same note, I haven't even thought about keywords yet - just getting the design down.
Edit 2: Except keywords on the domain name.
