I am trying to send my clients emails for a legitimate business, and they often hit the spam folder. Is there any way to fix this on my end (I can't ask them in advance to unblock my email address)

By the way, this is not for any affiliate stuff. Just a web design company that answers inquiries the come in from advertising.

You're already using a gmail account and your business replies are still landing in the spam folder?

Do you know what limitations Gmail has for the volume of outbound email you can send?

I set up a brand new Gmail account and hooked it up as SMTP server for my mailer. Immediately it locked out and forced me to authenticate its ownership by phone.

So has anyone here run into the upper limits on what you can send through Gmail?

Gmail is useless for bulk mail, it caps you at like 500/day.

It's much better option though than using a generic info@yourdomain.com to answer random customer questions.

Yup, I thought it was capped, but did not know where the cap was.

In any case, I have been mainly planning to use it only for the kind of transactional emails you describe.

Gmail accounts aren't good for image, I want to use my domain emails but get my IP whitelisted. If anyone knows how to do this please tell!
