MSPLinks Workaround

Does anyone (like me) have a bunch of MySpace accounts that no longer are useful for backlinks due to the msplinks redirect that MySpace uses?

I have been searching for a solution but so far haven't been able to come up with one.

Anyone know of a workaround?

One thing I HAVE found is that images still retain the original URL. Not much use to me though - I want to link to my blogs and sites directly.

There was a workaround that involved an extra space but that was fixed last week.

So far, there is no way around it.

You can use redirect method. So myspace link will go to link A while page A will redirect all visitors to your destination url (B).

If anybody else know how to change the msplink to direct link, I would definitely love to know how.

Yeah a redirect doesn't matter to me too much - I'm not using these links for affiliate links or for anything, all I want is the backlinks. I have over 100 PR3+ profiles that now don't count at all for backlinks.

thats why they have msplinks prevent SEO

The links are not filtered in messages and blog post comments last I checked.
