Moving elements of my site

Quick question for everyone...

You can see the current layout of my site at Credit Cards for every situation - Browse our Credit Card Offers

Do you think its better to leave it the way it is currently, or move the Finance News and Article Snapshot boxes to right below the main navigation at the top?

Personally I like going to a website where I can see that they have updated and addede news recently, makes it look more alive. Im just curious to to hear your opinions...

Ye I think you should move it up. Also the site looks pretty boring. And the 2 link columns at the top actually look like ads.

Move them to the top for sure and also I'd redo the links at the top. Perhaps make a seperate box for them and remove the 'information' below the link, but add them in some fancy DHTML when you hover over them with your mouse !

What would you guys reccomend for the link columns? Im trying to find some icons that I can place next to each card type to make them stand out better...

I agree the site is boring but I suck at design and I cant afford to fork out lots of money for a design...
