Monetizing a Charlie Sheen related site

I have a Charlie Sheen related site, PR3, has got 30k visitors in the last 30 days and I cant monetize it for shit, no offers that I have tried convert and adsense gets few clicks. Any good ideas how to monetize it better? I am going to play around with adsense placements and see if that helps. I may also just sell it for some quick cash, thoughts?

The problem is the visiters have just spent their last hunge on some charlie.....maybe some detox affiliates? Porn?

TIL amazon sells adult dvds. You can try "bree olson" dvds or even "two and a half men" for that matter...

Sheen's 15 minutes of insanity fame have long been over. He's going to have to do something really fucking stupid (again) to get his face back on every T.V. channel like it was 6 months ago.

Did you try selling shirts with Charlie Sheen quotes on them? That shit sold like hotcakes for me, although that was back when everything was going down.
 
Take a look at other celebrity sites / blogs to see how they are monetizing.

My thought is you could try a container unit to split test a few mass appeal offers.
 
Well I have a question for you.


This site gets like 1k hits a day, do you have share buttons on those quotes so people can post them on facebook? I would say your best bet is to, make a fanpage to get some likes so you can market later on.


Sell like others said shirts, magnets and mugs. Hit up Amazon and make some banners and shit for 2 1/2 men season, movies and things like that.


Create a meme generator, so people can make them, again make it so they can post these to facebook.
 
Adult shit ... for sure. People are mostly interested in the chicks he eats for breakfast.
 
Put something that they "HAVE" to see behind a content locker and have a link/banner to it on every page. Oh and obviously it should be Charlie Sheen related e.g. Charlie Sheen snorting a line video, Charlie getting it on with his goddesses etc.
 
I was going to do an article about Charlie Sheen a few months back, and did some footwork at that time for possible related affiliate ads, so here are a couple suggestions...

(1) related DVDs, as has been mentioned already. Not just 'Two & a Half Men' season DVDs, but other movies he's done (for the hard core Sheen fans).

(2) If you go to his site (charliesheen.com) and click on 'Shop', it links to a dedicated 'Fanfire.com' merchandise page with his official Tshirts. Charlie Sheen Official Store | Featured Items

Fanfire has an affiliate program at CJ which I assume you can join to earn commissions by linking to his Fanfire page and/or the individual Tshirt pages:

(3) You can earn commission by selling the shirts his character Charlie Harper wore on 'Two & a Half Men'. What Charlie Harper fan wouldn't want one of those?! :)

I heard about this through a TMZ article posted after he slammed the "ugly" shirts he had to wear on the show, apparently forgetting that he endorsed and likely makes money from the sale of those shirts.

That shirt line (DaVinci) is sold on Amazon and eBay, which both have commissions programs - although not sure all the eBay shirts are 'official'.
