I'm trying to get off all artificial sweeteners, but when I go to the store, every mint and pack of gum seems to be made with this crap.

Does anyone know of some tasty mints and chewing gum that doesn't use this stuff?

It's damned near impossible if you're looking for the typical: Trident, Dentyne, etc. Try Bubblicious, or find some good ole fashioned Chiklets, or gumballs for kids, lol.

I'm with you though. There's too much farking sweetners being shoved down our throat... pretty soon chocolate bars will only have a "sugar free" option. Pretty sad when you have to find an out of the way shop, or purchase online just to get some sugar in your gum.

You can't fine mint gum without sugar? I can't remember the name because I'm retarded but I get one usually in one of those bigger containers that holds about 60 pieces or so. I keep it in my car since I usually get nervous when I drive, chewing gum helps me de-stress a little. It has 30 calories a piece I believe so there must be sugar.

Glad you brought them up. Altoids are weird because they have different recipes for each product they sell. Their Peppermints use real sugar but their other flavors and their smaller mints contain Sorbitol and Sucralose.

And then there's Altoids gum which contains Xylitol which can literally kill a dog. So who knows what that stuff does to us.
