Does anyone here own a MediaPlazza affiliate store? Ringtones, Op logos, Java games..

Its something ive wanted to get into for quite some time, I registered the account but never got round to building the site

I just got a "z00pedup, long time no see" email from them. Was wondering if anyone has any experience?

Theres alot of ringtone sites bulletins floating around on MySpace.

I had an account also, didn't do anything with them.

Here is the deal, MediaPlazza pays you per sale. Someone visits the site & orders a ringtone/game etc. Alternatives like Dadamobile will pay you $11.50+ everything someone enters their phone number, where as Mediaplazza you are collecting pennies. The cons far outweigh the pros. Dadmobile, Thumbplay, and many other ringtone providers have adapted superior business models.

That being said, you certainly can make money from a Mediaplazza white label site. Will you be able to compete with promoting it in the pay per click market? I don't think so.

They don't give high enough of a commission for it to be worthwhile. Nobody ever bought anything but ringtones from my store anyway so the extra stuff to sell wasn't worth the sacrifice in amount of commission for the ringtones. So now I just use mStyle: http://www.publisheraid.com/revenue/Best+New+Ringtone+Affiliate+Program+Reviewed%3A+mStyle.html

It says this in my article, but they make you ask them for your money before they pay you every time. It's quite the nuisance, they should just automatically give it to you every month.

Thanx for the input Gentlemen .. I wont b promoting the mobile site with PPC but through some of my large South African based traffic sites.

Although earning pennies is not worth my while

Im gonna look into dada and thumbplay

I forgot where I heard that site, but I registered with it and got a whole new domain name for it and setup a ringtones site and their rates weren't that great (not horrible, just not great).

I would stick with aZoogle and CJ at the moment.
