So where do you find good places to buy and sell webmaster type of services besides:

1. Here at WickedFire
2. Digital Point
3. SitePoint

Looking for a few things myself like a content writer and some HTML/PHP help.. would like to know what other choices exist.

Odesk.

Although the quality varies wildly and you will have to vet whoever you hire pretty thoroughly unless you're hiring for something really, really simple.

ScriptLance and eLance.

I agree with jdomaha (by the way, very cool blog), though. For simple needs, ScriptLance and eLance should suffice; complicated projects might be frustrating. There are talented people at both places, but finding them is difficult. Ratings systems at any site are always unreliable.

My advice is to use your network, if possible. Ask trusted friends and acquaintances for referrals. If someone asked me for a coder they could rely upon (not just for quality, but deliverability, communication, etc.), I'd sure as heck refer 'em to someone I knew could deliver a good experience.

I have used Elance for years love it! I have heard good things about Odesk and the owner / CEO Gary Swart, is a smart, helpful all around good guy.
