Got a quick question!

I'm about to purchase Market Samurai and would like to know if its worth buying or if there is a better software out that will help finding great Keywords.? "Traffic Travis" Is free but should i invest in MS.?:1zhelp:

Thanks in advance

Best one for finding great keywords with exact match domains available would be Ultimate Niche Finder.

Best one for finding keywords (not as quick as UNF) but for tracking rank and doing a ton of other stuff would be Market Samurai. I bought it and have not regretted it. It's main function for me has been rank tracking though.

This is a good question.

There are lots of different programs you can use to help with your KW research, but none of them will do you much good if you can't determine what a good KW is on your own.

I use Google's KW tool and SERP IQ for my KW research.

Whatever you choose, make sure you actually LOOK AT THE SERP before you decide to move on a KW or register a domain. Things like a large block of ads at the top of the page or the presence of a 7-box can really alter the cost/benefit of ranking for any given KW.

Thanks makes sense. And PageRank obviously is important to right.? So should i get a plug-in for Firefox for PR.? Someone was telling me about it.

You are going to hear a lot of different opinions about PR, but I don't personally think it matters very much.

The SEOQuake plugin is excellent, and it will give you a ton of data about pages (including PR) while you browse.

Cool. Thanks Ice I'm gonna get on that in a bit. Excited/nervous i'm done watching videos and reading up on strategies, time to Do.

The best way to learn how to do KW research in my experience is to find a KW you really like, that has good search volume and decent CPC, optimize your on-page for it, and build a bunch of links to your page so that you can rank #1 for that KW and discover that the traffic doesn't convert.

Then you can scratch your head for a while and try a bunch of different monetization methods that still don't produce results anywhere NEAR what you should be seeing for the search volume that KW gets.

Then you can start to think about why that KW sucks, and how you can avoid ever choosing one like it again.

I think this is the best way to learn about keywords.

Market Samurai is not the great tool for keyword research after moving to Bing APIs, not anymore like it was 2 years ago.
Traffic Travis is a shit piece of software.
My personal advice is to invest your money buying SEOPowerSuite, from research to tracking all in one tool and it works with Google data.
Yes it's expensive but you can find good deals online.

ICE! Need you man. Okay so I'm Definitely not getting MS since its down or extra shitty now so, I've been Searching around Google's KW tool and found some pretty good KW's and domain names. Haven't purchased the domains yet, but do you think I can get some legit good KW's using Google's tool, and SERP IQ with SEOquake.? Not to sure if thats what SEOquake does (SERP IQ) I'm gonna go Google now damn.. Please excuse my newbness

Been using market samurai for 2 years now. So far so good to me. Actually there is a free trial of market samurai, maybe you can try that first to see how it will satisfy you. But like what they said, there are lots of KW tools out there, but since market samurai has a free trial, then maybe you could try that.

I use Google's keyword research tool. You can also try Bing's new keyword research tool. SERP Iq is also a great option.

ICE, you recommend building links to the specific page or article that targets the keyword right? Not the homepage? Does this matter?
