Hey..

Sent in my app for ML yesterday -- I received an email saying I would be contacted today. Got nothing, I called and left 2 VM's on the publisher approval dudes voicemail. If any reps / AMs from Market Leverage on here plz PM me.. thnx.

been there done that... one guy even blocked me on aim after i asked who the best person to contact about my app was.

their loss.

A few years back, I tried to contact them as an advertiser. I sent them multiple emails, left a few voice mails etc. The offer wasn't bullshit either. It was already running on Hydra and Azoogle. Worst part, they were right down the street from me...literally 5 mins away. Zero response. I would never work with them as an affiliate if that's how they deal with advertisers...especially local ones that they had an opportunity to build a great relationship with.

Not sure why they sometimes get a bad rep

  • Clueless AMs who've never run a campaign
  • Their Direct Track setup in particular blows
  • No ACH
  • Hound you to test offers (but don't guarantee EPC)
  • Don't credit you when their tracking takes a dump (and don't look into it)
  • They are the kings of the "Looks good on our end" response when their Advertisers are scrubbing you like you were exposed to radiation.
  • No self pixel placement
They do pay on time though. So they got that going for them.

I'm surprised they've not been giving you credits, they've pretty much always credited me.

I agree that I do get the "looks fine here" response sometimes

they've sent out an email threatening to close my account if i don't respond their email, i thought that was pretty funny.

I applied a couple of months ago and wasn't contacted for a couple of days by the approval manager. BUT, once we got on the phone it was great; I was accepted right away and he immediately sent me some suggested offers in my niche even prior to my being contacted by my AM.

What really impressed me, and this may not be such a big thing to more successful affiliates, but they Fed-ex the checks. Mine was for only a bit over $500, but it was a nice touch I thought.

Again, it took a few days for the approval manager to get in touch, but it was all smooth sailing after that.

Good luck bro.

They stiffed me 12k, saying the advertiser would not pay because of fraudulent leads, which was BS since all leads were from a legit PPC campaign with a landing page and nothing shady. Then they never responded to aims, voice mails, emails again. They never got proof from the advertiser, but stopped communicating with me, which is crap in my book. I avoid them because of that, not because of non payment.

Maybe you should open a thread about it, giving more details just like there was a thread about HydraNetwork not paying an affiliate. That will give the network more attention and you will most likely be paid (assuming everything you did was white hat)...

Yes, open a thread about it if that 12K really means something to you.

I think that's a great idea - because I'm in the same position right now, but they seem to be working with me on it. They're researching it and responding to me, at least.

I'd also love to hear which advertiser it was, because I have a suspicion that this has been happening a lot with one particular advertiser on ML...

P.S. At least one of the ML AM's recently departed the company, so that could be slowing down your approval, haspen_1. Good luck!

Yes, I think Melissa Johnson left the company.

Anyway, to OP: Contact Michael Kelly - MichaelK@MarketLeverage.com - He's a great guy to work with.
