I put up Adsense for Domains on a martial-arts typo domain, and here are the earnings statistics so far:

So, even with zero clicks, the parked page is showing a $31 eCPM.

Here is a money making idea:

  1. Park a domain with Adsense
  2. Buy cheap popunder traffic from North America, you know, the kind that's sold for $4/1000 visitors. The tricky part is to find a source of traffic that is not bot-generated, but real.
  3. Drive that traffic at an intermediate page that redirects to your parked page. Make sure that the redirection completely removes the referer. I suggest using Shady's excellent Controlling Your Referer, and Hiding Your Traffic Sources : Slightly Shady SEO as a starting point. I also read somewhere that executing a getUrl() command inside a flash movie will cause a referer-less redirect.
Driving paid traffic to a parked domain is against their TOS, so the key here IMHO is to make the traffic look like type-ins. That's why we remove the referer and use "real" traffic. If you are concerned about your traffic source having repeat visits from the same IP, you can implement logging on your intermediate page and divert IPs who were already seen to some other destination.

Another tip is to register a new domain and implement this from day 1. That way the traffic doesn't suddenly go from 1 type in to 10k type ins a day, Google will spot that since they have all the historical traffic data from the day when you parked with them.

Finally, to keep a really low profile, you can register several domains and split the traffic between them. That way you're not seeing astronomical typeins on any single domain.

I haven't tested this, so its just an idea to get you going. :xomunch:
