So my friend calls me up to go buy some shoes to resell. They retail for like $310 and can resell for $435 on ebay. Then I looked for people who were willing to buy for $500 and actually found someone.

The problem is you can only buy 1-2 max (I called Nike).

I was going to line up on Friday night to buy Saturday morning, but what do you guys think of "buying" someone's spot in line for like $50? No go?

think there are easier ways to make money... but to each their own.

Could you name a few? I'm sure doing an easy job like cashier would be an easy way to make money as well, but it depends on what you define easy as.

All I have to do is wait in line, buy some shoes, and sell them on ebay for money. Pretty simple to me.

I dunno if it was all that harsh.
Let's stop and think about it. This forum is all about ways to make money and at the same time, make your own work that little bit easier.

Arbitrage on consumer products that have limited purchase quantities for non-authorised resellers would have to be one of the most contrary ways of making money to the entire WF ethic. The only thing I can see that's more is a McJob.

Radio's comment may be harsh, but I think he's trying a bit of reverse psychology here.

Gosu: If that's what you're currently doing for money, I think you're better off getting a job in a big office block. Data entry or something. The pay's crap, but there's room to move up, it builds a resume, and you'll make some new friends.
Alternatively, become a drug dealer that sells extras. Dealing weed? Have some hookahs and pipes! Dealing pills, sell glow sticks. It's all about the upsell on the FMCG category.
