Hey guys! I know this forum is full of dicks, but theres lots of cool people on here too so I figured I could find a mentor. A little background on me, I'm 19 years old and I go to Oregon State University. I have a strong drive to make money and succeed as long as I know that I am on the right path. Although I'm sort of a newbie, I have some experience with PPC. I have an Adwords acount, a Copeac acount, and I have tracking202 set up with its own hosting. I was wondering if anyone was willing to mentor me, and help me get started. I mainly need advice on using Adwords and a little bit on tracking202. Of course I'm willing to learn anything relevant to this business. We could work out a deal to where you would get a cut of my profits (actually, It would be worth it to me to give you all of my profits) for a certain period of time, or something similar.

flame away, or pm me....or something

thanks

oh and, I understand that anyone successful has put months of effort into what they have learned. i dont expect anyone to reveal their secrets, all I'm looking for is mainly technical help and pointers.

So you want me to help you make money and build more competition so it's potentially harder for me to make the monies?

Where do I sign up?

I hate to break your balls but nobody who knew what they were doing would take time out of their life to mentor you one on one for a slice of your profits. PPC isn't rocket science, it's all about testing, tracking, and tweaking. Sure you will lose some money but if it takes $500 to create a campaign that gives you $100 a day in profits isn't it worth it?

Don't ask for a mentor. Just go out and do the shit. Hit people up on MSN and network with them. Ask them questions, most of the time they'll help you out.

okay thanks guys. Ive been testing a lot and my only problem is small technical issues that get in the way. Its hard to search for solutions when theres so much trash on the internet. I'll just try asking people directly and maybe if im lucky they wont tell me to f off

So far, I don't see you needing a mentor.

Just ASK the questions you are having in this forum (appropriate section) and you'll most likely get a good answer.

What the others said. Just get started.

Set up something simple just to get the feel to it all, and go from there. It's much better for you to be having specific questions, rather than basically asking "how do i get rich?". GL brah

do what I'm doing

im going to set up a simple SEO WP blog, give it a nifty domain, add content, add a clickbank link for shits and gigs

rinse and repeat a few times

then try my hand at ppc. :D

there, i helped, now stay the fuck out of my niche

A mentor isn't usually something you ask a group of strangers for, and even if someone volunteers, a mentorship started off like that isn't likely to be very productive. Sounds like you're really looking for an AM.

Hit up your rep at copeac, or [i'm-at-work plug] sign up with one of our reps at a4d; a good AM should be able to help you get started and answer all of your questions. That's what they're there for :) They don't make money unless you do.

Don't do PPC coach, I had it for about 10 months and the best advice I ever got from him was "Cool landers lol :)", I also got to hear a few Canadian interviews where they rant about shit everyone already knows. If you are obsessed with polls however - Go ahead. Here is some advice, SEO is your friend.

Yeah there are dicks here, no doubt about it. Fortunately they are good for something... you can learn from them using this forum. Your best bet is to post, ask questions, and separate the crap from the actual advice.

What the fuck is so hard about looking at what the competition does, monitoring, spying, yada yada yada, profiting!

No you won't. People like you who beg for someone to hold their hand and show them the ropes rather than try stuff and figuring shit out on your own don't make it in this business.

QFT, the failure rate is high in this business for newbs. I would say 90% give up because it's "too hard". If it were that easy, everyone would be rich.

I thought the first month was worth it. I didn't know anything about ppc and the forums were a good source of information. I wouldn't bother beyond a month though. Then again.. you can find all the same information here with a bit of searching.
